The first mini Mee-Maw Christmas!

Lily will be unavailable for the rest of the weekend as she will be getting to know her friend Hannah. If there is an emergency, she might be able to be reached at Miss Heather's house, but try not to interrupt her fun. There's going to be lots of eating, laughing, and playing. Look for pictures on Monday if Lily decides to let you in on the fun!!

Lily spent all day waiting for Susan, only to find out she won't be here until tomorrow. She got very tired of sitting around and decided to take a little nap while she was waiting. Posted by Picasa

Is she ever gonna get here? Posted by Picasa

4 Month update!

Lily went to the doctor on Monday. She weighs 13 lbs, 2 oz. and is 25 inches long. She got 4 shots which made her pretty cranky for awhile, but she's fine now. She's sleeping while Daddy holds her. She had her tummy full and was ready for some rest.
The most exciting thing is now Lily is eating food. She's had cereal 2 days in a row, and I think tomorrow we're trying either sweet potatoes or peas. She likes it pretty well, even after I put her vitamins in it (they are browny-orange and smell like ughhhhhhhh!). She gets mad because I don't feed it to her fast enough. I think she really is a mini-mee-maw!
Lily is also getting very excited because Auntie Consuela (Susan) is coming home in 4 days! She'll be here Saturday and I think Lily is going to get to have her first Jones' fambly experience. She'll also get to see Marie and help us make cookies. Fun for everyone. Anyone who wants to come join the cookie-making party on Sunday is welcome. Sonya-it's gonna be like The Little Red Hen...if you don't help make the cookies, you don't get to help eat them.

Lily's first tastes of cereal! Woo hoo! Bring on the real food! Posted by Picasa

Let me get a hold of it. Mommy, let go of my hands. I need to feel it! Posted by Picasa

This is NOT milk. What kind of trick are you playing on me? Posted by Picasa

Maybe if I eat a little more, I'll like it better. Posted by Picasa

This cereal stuff is pretty good. I think I'll try it again. Posted by Picasa

It's hard to watch the spoon and eat at the same time. Posted by Picasa

Give it here, give it here! You're not feeding me fast enough, Mommy! Posted by Picasa

I'm kinda messy at this. Posted by Picasa

How cute am I? Posted by Picasa

Wow.

One year ago today, I found out I was going to be a mommy. So much has happened since then, mainly, I have this beautiful, wonderful, amazing little daughter. It's great. Josh and I are really blessed to have such a good baby.

More than a year ago, I took some pictures. Two days ago I found the rolls of film. There were all kinds of things that I barely even remember. Annie when we first got her (how long ago was that!?!), the Mee-maw trip to New Orleans, Mee-Maw Christmas last year, the cruise, J-day... I'll post a few, including the one taken right after I told Josh he was going to be a daddy. Seeing these pictures makes me think I want to get my hair cut off again, like in the one from Kellie's house. Any thoughts?

Also, today Lily got her Christmas pictures taken today. She was so good. I'll post one or two. The rest will have to be a Christmas present surprise!
