Jack

Thanksgiving also brought us a new little friend. Jack arrived at our house. Don't tell anyone, but Jack reports to Santa. That's how Santa knows if Lily has been good or bad. Every night Jack flies to the North Pole to give Santa the report and then returns to our house to keep an eye on Lily. She wakes up every morning, anxious to find him. So far he's hidden in the kitchen window, on top of the refrigerator, in the living room curtains, in the Christmas tree, and when I left this morning, he was sitting at the computer desk.

Thanksgiving Day!

On Thanksgiving we go to Josh's aunt's for lunch and my mom's house for dinner. Lily loves to go to Aunt Debra's and play outside. She spent part of the time chasing grasshoppers and the other part chasing Dah. Here are some pics:

An action shot.

Mommy's Little Helper

All the work that we did this weekend made Lily very hungry. She need to have a snack. She decided that she wanted some fruit. This was the piece she picked out. She's so silly!

Home improvement

This past weekend, the Stone family did a little home improvement. We had not done anything to our laundry room since we moved in. As you can see it was very pink and had a beautiful pig border. The way the shelves were put up didn't make for very efficient storage. We were very frugal with our new design. We found some mistinted paint at Lowe's for $5.00 a gallon. It turned out much brighter than we expected, but still all right for the laundry room. I got 6 rolls of shelf liner for $1/roll at Big Lots. I got some Command hooks for about $4. The big splurge was the shelves above the washing machine which were about $12 at Wal~mart. We're pretty happy with the results.

The pantry. We could still use a little more room there. Maybe I need to stop buying frosting.

Before and After

We have alot more space for storing stuff on the shelves now.
The poor little pigs are gone now.

Going to the chapel...

Aunt Sonny waiting for the elevator.

Lily in the elevator. She was so excited, right up until time for mommy to go sit down. She ended up coming to sit with me. Oh well. Who wants to be a flower girl anyway?

Here comes the bride.

They are supposed to be praying, but it looks like Sean is peeking.

Pierce was the ring bearer. He got down the aisle, but he wouldn't carry his pillow. Here he is playing at the reception. He loved those flowers. He had them all night.

Jadyn didn't care about the wedding. She was too tired.

Daddy, it's time to stop embarrassing yourself. Come sit down.

Speaking of embarrassing...Nikki and Micah passionatly singing something.

Lily had a lot of fun taking pictures with Crystal's camera. I'm sure there were about 75 of the floor. Here's Lily trying to take my picture.

How funny is my little flower girl, enjoying her drink in the middle of the dancers?

Hockey Day 2008

Lily came to Hockey Day with me this year. She had a pretty fun time. Right here, she's not particularly enjoying herself. She didn't want Madison to push her in the swing. I'm pretty sure that she had fun with Tyler and Madison, just not in this picture.

Abby Cadabby!

Lily dressed up as Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street for Halloween. She wasn't into trick-or-treating, but Sonny insisted on taking her anyway. She rang one door bell, but when the people talked to her, she ran away. Oh well. Gramu made sure she had PLENTY of treats. (So did Miss Susan when we got to Judson for Hockey Day that night. )

She wouldn't wear her wings for some reason, but she loves this dress.
