America's Next Top Model

Lily played dress-up and Mommy played photographer. Here she is in the season's latest trend...toboggans and tutus! (Note that she doesn't have any highheels, but stands like they are there!)

She loves Florida and skirts with flowers in them.

She also loves to lick the spoon when grandma cooks.

The best part...

To me the best part of the wedding is seeing the groom's face when her first sees the bride. At first I was a little worried about Brandon. He looked a lot like he was going to pass out. He looked very nervous to me (Really, can you blame him? He was about to marry Christy!), but when he saw Christy...he sucked in a big breath. It was so sweet, I almost cried. As it turns out, he did not fall out. Once he was holding Christy's hand, he seemed to relax a little. *

Brandon sucking in his breath. So sweet.

Christy coming down the aisle. She didn't cry during the whole thing. She just got a little teary.

*I've only met Brandon twice, once the day before his wedding and once the day of his wedding. I don't really know his well enough to know exactly how relaxed or nervous or anything else he was. Those are just my observations.

Christy Davis got married!

Christy Davis did, in fact, get married last weekend. For some reason I only took crappy pictures. This one is my favorite. Stay tuned for the collection of unfortunate pictures I took of Christy. It's quite a collection!

Dinner with the Halls

We went to have dinner with Matt and Ashley last night. Matt grilled us some steaks that were super good and Lily got to play with Matt's dogs, Groovy and Mellow.

Since Baby Kate was going to wear her headband to Uncle Matt's, Lily also wanted to wear one. Obviously, she had to fix it all by herself.

She went to Matt's just like this. She wore the headband until it popped off just before dinner.

Trip to the Zoo

We went to the zoo on Sunday with Grandma, Papu, Sonny, and Sean. It was fun. If you haven't been to the Montgomery Zoo lately, you should check it out. There were baby giraffes, a baby elephant, a baby rhino and a new otter exhibit. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time.

Lily and Daddy. Doesn't she look like she's having a great time?

J-day Weekend

Lily was determined to put her shorts on herself. She had some problems getting one leg on each side instead of both in one.

Two in one still.

Heather helping her get them up finally. She also thought it was very funny to put the stickers on her belly. I'm telling you, she's a fashion icon!

Introducing Jayden

Lily has a cousin. I realized I haven't posted any pictures of little Jayden Leigh, so I thought you might like to see her. When you show Lily a picture of Sonya and me when we were little, Lily says it's her and Jayden.

Jayden and Pierce

I'm afraid she might be as ornery as her daddy.

Here comes Lily Cottontail...

This Easter basket is too heavy.

She didn't want Mommy and Grandma to take her picture with her basket.

Josh was very excited to find his (and I bet he learns his lesson about trying to ruin my pictures now!)

Come ON Grandma! Let's see what we got!

It's a sucker AND a whistle!

Lily is an excellent Easter egg hunter. She found one with gum inside.

A small break to play in the sand.
